Turkish Defence Minister Akar to visit UK defence companies
Turkish Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar is on a trip to Britain with an accompanying technical delegation of experts on defence and security issues.
Akar is on an official visit to London at the same time that Britain lifted all defence industry embargoes against Turkey.
Akar, who is on his way to the UK as an official guest of British Defence Minister Ben Wallace, is expected to exchange views on bilateral and regional defence and security and cooperation in the defence industry during his visit.
During the visit, where meetings with some defense industry companies are also planned, Minister of National Defense Akar is accompanied by a technical delegation consisting of civilian and military personnel specialized in defense and security issues.
